I find that interesting – not out of any general interest in Family Guy, which is not to my taste, but because it’s not the first time we’ve seen that unlikely combination, as Stewie and Charlie Brown were in a Coke ad together (with Underdog) in Thanksgiving Day balloon form.

Target has another set of Christmas ads that features a lot of different property characters together (Minions, The Lego Movie, Barbie, Elmo, etc.) and that tellingly doesn’t have Peanuts. Again, the Peanuts characters do not tend to play with others.

And for those of you who want to see the AAUGH.com Reference Library in action, here’s a screenshot from the documentary featurette on the DVD of Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (and Don’t Look Back). In the background, those bookshelves with books? That’s a portion of the reference library. Exciting, eh?
