Yipe!) including a goodly pile of the\u00a0<strong>Boom! Studios Halloween Fright Fest 2014<\/strong> comic. It&#8217;s got an\u00a0<em>Adventure Time<\/em> story and a\u00a0<em>Fraggle Rock<\/em> story, both of which I suspect are new for this volume. In between those, it has three pages of Peanuts material &#8211; two Schulz Sunday Halloween strips, and one page &#8220;from the drawing board&#8221; feature, running a quote from Schulz about the background behind the kite eating tree.<\/p>\n<p>So if you don&#8217;t get this, you&#8217;re not missing any new stories&#8230; but if you&#8217;re a completist and you need one, just stop by on October 31. Wear a costume.<\/p>\n<h6>(Actually, this year they have been selling them in retail packages, so if you stop by your local comic book store, they\u00a0<em>might<\/em> be able to sell you a pack of 20 of this for $4.99. But I&#8217;m not sure how many shops are actually carrying them.)<\/h6>\n<p>Oh, as long as I&#8217;m posting about Boom! <em>Peanuts<\/em> comics: every few months, I get an email from someone who has just noticed that there was no new issue of <em>Peanuts<\/em> solicited for an upcoming month, and reckons that that is a sign that the book has been cancelled. So let me note something:\u00a0<em>this series is not a monthly<\/em>. Yes, it comes out most months&#8230; but after every fourth issue (i.e., after every trade paperback&#8217;s worth), they take a break. So while it may well be cancelled some day, if you see a no issue solicited the month after one where the issue number was divisible by 4, don&#8217;t panic.
