Yes, I have my copy of the new Kohl’s edition of A Charlie Brown Christmas<\/strong>. This doesn’t have the textured cloth cover of some editions of this adaptation (the 2008 one with Tom Brannon art), but it does have a full-color jacket over full-color boards. It’s pretty big, at 10 3\/4″ square, and at a mere $5, a good deal.<\/p>\n

And it’s not the only book in this deal, remember. For $5 apiece, you can also get Happiness is a Warm Blanket<\/strong> (the storybook edition, alas; that’s still a good adaptation, just not as a good as the graphic novel adaptation), Be Yourself!<\/strong>, and You Can Be Anything!\u00a0<\/strong>While those aren’t my favorite books, if you have any interest in them, these are good deals – not only a mere $5, but at 10.75″ square as well, they’re much larger than the original editions.<\/p>\n

And yes, the You Can Be Anything! <\/em>is indeed an improved edition, missing the various errors of the original edition, such as a “www.snoppy.com” and repeatedly misidentifying Snoopy as the “World War II Flying Ace”, getting him in the wrong war. And then there’s the big error that AAUGH Blog reader Jason caught that I missed when I originally reviewed<\/a> the book: they misspelled the book’s title on the spine. That’s right, when it sits on your shelf, you appear to have You Can Do Anthing!<\/em><\/p>\n
