The day after I posted the first A Charlie Brown Christmas<\/em> adaptation of the year, I’ve got another one… but not only is this one apparently from last year, this one has an asterisk. It’s not a book, it’s a fabric pattern, which shows the story of the classic TV special in twenty images, basically in silent comics.<\/p>\n

Of course, twenty panels is not a lot to cover twenty-five minutes of TV, so they have to trim a little. Oh, not anything important… well, okay, this is probably the only adaptation ofA Charlie Brown Christmas that foregoes the entire production of the play, including Linus quoting the Gospel.<\/p>\n

I bought my panel from fabric.com<\/a>, but (unlike the one pictured here) the panel was not ideally cut from the spool; mine starts with the second row of panels, then after the third and forth row, hey, there’s finally the first row. It’s like you came into the movie in the middle and sat there until it started again!<\/p>\n
