I keep thinking that we’re done, we’re finished with new book editions of A Charlie Brown Christmas<\/em>, but they keep pulling me back in! This time, it’s another do-we-count-this-as-a-book item, as it’s an interactive digital storybook<\/a> for Apple devices (iPad, iPod, iPhone). Is this the same version as what I mentioned earlier for the Color Nook<\/a>? Apparently not. For one thing, the audio portions aren’t narrated by the lovely Ari Meyers – but that’s actually good news, because the narration is by Peter Robbins, who voiced Charlie Brown in the original special. And there are little interactive bits to entertain you along the way. It uses dialog and music from the original special – yes, they have the Vince Guaraldi material.<\/p>\n

I’ve seen some complaints about the audio for this not working on the iPad, but Apple instructs you that if you don’t hear it, check your side switch and<\/em> your mute settings, so it sounds like it may be user error rather than a faulty app.<\/p>\n

“But I don’t have an iPad, iPod, or iPhone!” I heard you cry. Well, neither do I – but if you want to click here to purchase a nice new iPad<\/a>, that sounds like a good idea to me!<\/p>\n
