Take for example this items which was listed on eBay as a &#8220;puppet book&#8221;. Well, yes, it does fold open, so I understand how someone might think it&#8217;s like a book&#8230; but that would make paper napkins &#8220;books&#8221; as well.<\/p>\n<p>But if it&#8217;s not a book, its also an odd puppet, the flat backing giving one a limited range of motion, and with Snoopy&#8217;s head permanently attached to what looks to be a pillow, even though he&#8217;s depicted as standing.<\/p>\n<p>The thing that I love about this Knickerbocker foldable puppet toy is what Snoopy is wearing &#8211; it looks like it&#8217;s from a 1970s Halloween costume, one of those which came with an apron or smock which, rather than trying to look like a costume, instead explained whom the mask was meant to depict.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am, apparently, a sucker for anything anyone describes as a Peanuts book&#8230; even when it isn&#8217;t.
