The AAUGH Blog goes athleisure

The AAUGH Blog is, at heart, a books blog. I’m here to talk about Peanuts and Schulz books. Oh, sure, I’ll have an aside here about Hot Wheels or Pop! figures if they catch my eye, I’ll mention the existence of new animated Peanuts, but when companies come to me hoping that I’ll publicize their Peanuts-related non-book things, I usually just ignore it.

The other day, the folks from Love Tribe contacted me, asking if I would like to get some review samples of their new line of Peanuts “athliesure wear” young ladies’ clothing that they are producing exclusively for Macy’s. And I’m like “of course not! I don’t wear young ladies’ clothes!! Even when I buy young ladies’ clothes, they aren’t for me, their for my Peanuts-wearing daughter… oh, wait.”

So I reckoned it was time to take a new ladieswear sub-blogger into the AAUGH empire, and through a careful process known as “nepotism” I selected the proper candidate to fill that spot. Ladies and gentlemen (and even the cruder members of my audience), let me introduce you to Ally, who will be reviewing a few of these garments over the next couple weeks.

First up for review is the “Peanuts X Love Tribe Juniors’ Hustle Hoodie”, a piece with an interesting vented back.

Here’s what she had to say:

  • The fabric is sooooft. It’s a very lightweight material, and the effect is that it’s warm, but not too warm. This would be a good item to wear in the fall. As a girl with short hair, I suspect that it would look better on girls with longer hair; otherwise, it looks like your hair has completely disappeared!
  • It’s bit lacking in Snoopy – he’s only on the left sleeve.
  • But it’s SUPER COMFY!!!!
  • Overall: it’s good!
