Apparently, Good Morning America will be running a “teaser” for the Peanuts movie on Tuesday (likely when you’re reading this), but USA Today has an article on it with a couple of images.

The modeling from the 3-D has an interesting effect, unsurprisingly reminding me of the effect of Tom Brannon’s shading on his work in the books. That they’re using what looks like linework rather than rendered details for eyes and eyebrows helps a lot in maintaining the Schulziness of it. I’ll be interested to see them in motion.
