Very Postal Peanuts

CD coverA Very Special Charlie Brown Holiday Collection is a new CD that came out for this holiday season – someone pointed me to it, but I didn’t have a chance to see one for myself until after Christmas, so I apologize to anyone who would’ve liked to have grabbed one for this year. It’s made up of music that you Peanuts music completists already have on your various soundtrack and soundtrack-cover CDs, plus new recordings of “Jingle Bells” and “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer” by the David Benoit Trio. This CD is brought to you by those paragons of musical production, the United States Post Office!
The link above will take you to the post office website where you can order one, but if you want to pay less for a used copy (or more for an unopened copy), you can order it through Amazon here.

Edited later to add the track list:

  • O Tannenbaum – Gerald Albright
  • Linus and Lucy – Vince Guaraldi Trio
  • Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer – David Benoit Trio
  • Just Like Me – Vanessa Williams
  • Skating – Vince Guaraldi Trio
  • Jingle Bells – David Benoit Trio
  • Christmas Time is Here – Vince Guaraldi Trio
  • It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year – Toni Braxton
  • The Christmas Song – Vince Guaraldi Trio
  • Fur Elise – Vince Guaraldi
  • Greensleeves – Vince Guaraldi Trio
