It's Only A Game is
Charles Schulz's long-lost
other syndicated newspaper comic. Most Peanuts fans have never
even heard
of this, much less seen it, because none of cartoons have ever appeared
in a book before. Now the entire run is collected in a single volume.
It includes commentary by Jim Sasseville, who worked with Schulz on
the latter part of the strip's run, edited by Schulz historian Derrick
Bang, and laid out and published by AAUGH.com's own Nat Gertler.
If all you know is Schulz's kids, now it's time to get to know his teens. This book collects hundreds of single-panel Schulz cartoons about teenagers, done primarily for church youth magazines. Teens and religion, teens and dating, teens and family, teens an sports - great, gangly teens. Includes cartoons that have never been in a book before, and others that have been out of print for decades. As an added bonus, there's dozens of cartoons about little kids. A great gift for any Schulz fan... even if it's a gift for yourself. Foreword by Jerry Scott, writer of Zits and Baby Blues. Schulz's Youth.
